Create A New Class

To create classes, you must have an author profile. To create author profile, go to Authors' Profile  page. You need a valid PayPal account to create author profile to receive your fund from selling your classes. To create a new class, go to Authors' My Classes  page. You must have a class preview file ready to upload. Preview file must be in Windows Media Video (.wmv) format. Other formats will be rejected while registering. You can use international characters on any text input box except class topic, however some special characters are not allowed to use. Special characters that are not allowed are single quotation mark ( ' ), double quotation mark ( " ), and hipen ( - ). Only enabled classes are listed on Purchase  page. To enable your class, set the availability property of the class to 'Enabled.' You can enable classes with four or more modules registered. This means your class has to have four or more modules registered to be listed on Purchase page. Each class must contain at least following items; one class preview (.wmv), four or more video modules (.wmv) and handouts (.pdf) for each module.

Register Modules for Class

To register modules, go to Authors' My Modules  page. You must have video file and handout file ready to upload. Video file must be in Windows Media Video (.wmv) format. Other formats will be rejected while registering. Handout file must be in (.pdf) format. International characters are allowed for module name. However some special characters are not allowed to use. Special characters that are not allowed are single quotation mark ( ' ), double quotation mark ( " ), and hipen ( - ). Each module must contain one video file (.wmv) and one handfout file (.pdf). Your class modules will be listed in order by module name. Therefore, good practice to make module name is attaching number in front of module name. For example, you can set your module name as following; 1.Introduction, 2.Overview of SQL, 3.Tables in Database, 4.Working with Data, 5.Relational Databse, 6.Data Export, 7.Roles, etc.

Automated E-mail Notification on Purchase

When your class is purchased by someone, you will receive a notification. E-mail will be sent to your HS LEARNING e-mail address, not PayPal e-mail address. We strongly recommend you to have same e-mail address for both HS LEARNING and PayPal.

Check Your Balance

Go to Authors' Balance page to check your balance. Profits for ecah classes and summary for total profit will be shown. You may change the price of your class anytime. Balance will be calculated from actual price amount from exact purchase time. For example, if the price of the class is $10.00, and the class was purchased 1 time, then sales amount will be $10.00. Next day, you reduce the price to $5.00, and the class was purchased 1 time, then the price will be updated $5.00 and total purchase count will be 2. However, you should not multiply price ($5.00) and purchase count (2) to get sub total for $10.00 ($5.00 X 2 = $10.00). The actual sub total will be $15.00 ($10.00 X 1 + $5.00 X 1 = $15.00). You will see the current price of your class is $5.00 and purchase count is  2, but sub total of your class is $15.00. You will receive 70%* of your sub total on each chass sales via your PayPal account. HS LEARNING pays transaction fee, transfer fund fee to PayPal. If there is refund claim from the buyer and HS LEARNING has to refund to the buyer, you will get notice from us via automaticall generated e-mail system. (* Profit rate may change without notice.)

Copy Right and Class Files

Copy right of all class material belongs to you. In other words, you may not upload any file that belongs to others. Your class must be created by you only. If we found that any of your class files are illegal copy, your class will be blocked. Also we will refund to the buyers of the class. Also you may not upload any file that is not to be considered as learning material such as pornographic, your opinion about some matters, fun video, or anything which may not be considered as 'learning tool*.' (* We define 'learning tool' as 'something that helps people understand the nature of the world, and also has been developed as study to teach people at schools or institutes.') We do not keep copy right of your classes. Many online learning sites keep the copy right of material created by authors, and authors cannot use their work as they want. We consider this as unfair practices. You may use your creation anywhere anytime as long as they belong to you.
